Mark & the boys went Bow hunting for 5 days. I LOVE it when they go out of town. That means I get to do stuff they would think was lame & make fun of me for doing. Last year Ryan, Tyler & I took a roadie to Grafton & Frisco. Ryan was busy this weekend, so I decided to go to Idaho Falls to see the Titanic artifacts exhibit. Well, on friday when I printed the map I saw how close Jackson was. Hmmmmmmmmm (the seed was planted). Got up and drove to Idaho Falls, saw the exhibit. It was pretty cool, I'm positive it wasn't nearly as cool as the one Ryan saw in Vegas, but worth the drive. It didn't take as long as I thought and Jackson is so close. Decided WTH, I've only been to Jackson once, why not. Diddled around and took pictures, had a great drive. Stopped at a rest stop/scenic overlook to take more pics and use the facilities. Had a bit of an oversight with the door and took some of the hide of one of my toes (visulize a potato peeler). Those suckers bleed! And hurt like a bugger!! (um, if I'm being honest it still hurts like a bitch). I ate dinner in Jackson at Bubba's BBQ, it was fantastic!!! An absolute must do when in Jackson. In the end it was a really long day, I was on the road at 8 am and rolled in at midnight. Not too bad for a day trip. I'm pretty sure if I traveled alone all the time it would suck but occasionally it rocks. I am already thinking about the second weekend of the bow hunt and the Elk hunt.
