House update

The word is in, we got the house!!! Wohoo, very exciting and a little scary too. Because we had planned on taking 6 months or so to get the house sold we had not even started the process of getting a new mortgage. Well, lets just say in the last 24 hours we have signed more shit and given up countless documents (bank statements, W2's etc), we have had to explain why one day a year ago we made a random deposit for $100. Umm, who knows? It was a year ago! I barely remember last month. It's a good thing Mark know all that crap, 'cuz I got nothing. We were really excited last night, celebrated by having Mexican (we had kind of given that up while we saved for a new house, um yeah. Got really far with that one didn't we?) chatted about the how fun/cool/exciting it's going to be. And then about bedtime reality slaps you up side the head. "Oh holy shit! I am moving in 3 weeks, 2 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!" Are you freaking kidding me? What the hell were we thinking? Well, I think it's safe to say we weren't. I am just going to go with we were seduced by the glitz and glamor of moving. In the end we are very excited, however. If anybody is really bored b/c they have finished all of their Christmas stuff and have a burning desire to move boxes, the line will start at our front door on December 22nd.
