Ghost Hunt
Ryan got Amanda a "Ghost Hunt" for her birthday and we tagged along. It is out at the old Tooele Hospital. You make a reservation and a tour guide takes you around the hospital, ours came with an extra escort that had a K2 monitor (measures "energy") it was malfunctioning "this is amazing, I've never seen it do this before", uh huh. Through the tour the guide told us about the former occupants and what they do as ghostly inhabitants. Wesley paces across the hallway blocking pieces of a metal door, a couple of people saw something. Someone in our group was a "sensitive" and didn't like a couple of the rooms. Ryan got some really cool pictures of Orbs, while we were there I didn't think I had any. I was so bummed but when I looked at them on the computer I did have a few, I feel much better now. I was a little disappointed in the freaky factor, I was really hoping to be freaked out but not so much. Through out the hospital they have installed night vision camera's so they can monitor tour progress and make every one is playing nicely (and not too nicely, wink wink), when you are in the rooms/hallways I didn't think much of it. We stood in the lobby area and noticed the other tours on the camera's. After our tour we waited in the lobby to be turned loose and watched on the camera's. As we were independently hunting I thought about the camera's and people watching me (bright as day on the monitors') that did kind of weird me out bit. Overall I thought it was a blast, Boise State Penitentiary maybe next? Look for some pics later.
