WOW!!!! It's been a week. First I have to say mom & dads new dog "Tank" is the cutest damn thing I have ever seen. OMG so tiny and just a doll. Second, I just got a set of Bose headphones (smoking' deal on Amazon), holy shit, I'm sold. Killer sound no kidding, y'all gotta get some. Third, biffed it good this weekend. Skating Sunday morning went over an bridge that kicked my ass. Went down so fast I didn't even get my hands up, caught myself with my face. Literally. Broke my new glasses & my nose too, more pissed about the glasses. Took a chunk of skin off my nose , big ole' hairy road rash/fat/bruised lip. Readers Digest version is my face is an oozing multi color joy to behold.
But, this has been a good growth experience, always wanted to know if I could un-wuss up enough to get back to the car. Wohoo, I can!!!! Skated back to the car bleeding and all. AND drove to meet Mark so go to the Doc. No stitches, nothing to stitch back up (damn missing chunks). I have always thought grown women should not have scabs, it's gross. I definitely believe it now, they are wayyyy worse than the bruising and/or swelling. No pics but I will update after the ENT appointment tomorrow.
