That is the biggest Elk I have ever seen, I was standing close enough to pet him (yes, through the fence) and he just looked at me like eh, what are you looking at? I've never seen one so close he was beautiful. The
beginning point of the trip was to see Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, they were very cool. I am excited to go back with Mark & the boys to see it when it is at max capacity. The weather made for some fun pics but hard to drive in. The little waterfall is in a camp ground and the only way off the water to see it is to drive on the dirt road, it was a fun
surprise. I was hoping for a better rainbow shot and I had the PERFECT, PERFECT picture. But the camera just up and quit working. Not like being a little testy but full on no power. I was pissed! Coming into the canyon off of the
Alpine turn off, it quit raining and the sun came out. The colors just popped and it was an amazing double rainbow with rays of sun shining through the clouds. FREAKING PERFECT and who didn't have a working camera?????? I wanted to cry, even as I type I'm struggling to not wimper. Ate at Bubba's again, fan-freaking-tastic BBQ. The drive home was a bit longer then I anticipated. Rained like hell; torrents, no kidding. And those damn orange barrels, at least it's not just construction season in Utah. But it was a blast.
