One of Taryn's friends committed suicide over the weekend. This is Taryns first experience with death in any real way, neither of the boys have had anyone they are connected to die. I'm not sure he really gets it yet, if he does he is handling it great. I cannot begin to imagine the pain his family is going through. The boys both got extra hugs and kisses (much to Collins dismay) not because they needed it but because I did.
Math homework bites. Collin and Mark spent two hours on it last night, they got half way done. Collin & I got up at 5:00 this morning to finish it, it is now 6:15 and we have done about half. This isn't even the hard stuff like linear equations (wth). We now have a lucky pen that has improved our skills enormously. Copy out the problem with the lucky pen on a separate piece of paper and then complete it with a pencil. Out of 7 problems only 1 wrong answer, really? A pen? Don't care going with whatever works.
We are still set to close on the 24th, initially it was to be back to back. Now we will be closing on Dutch Draw first thing in the morning and Poison Oak in the afternoon (3ish). Crap-hole-eo,
not what we had planned. We wanted to close as early as possible so we could take possession early in the day. I think we should quit trying to make a plan (pointless) and just go with whatever.
