House and stuff

First I have to say that it is almost time......... Two more days!!!! Seriously long days. Mark has to be at academic meetings this week from pretty much from 8 to 8, ick. So I am going to take Trax up and meet him and have dinner before THE show. Wohoo! We are still scheduled to close on the 24th but we've had another bit of a glitch. Because our house was built prior to 1978 any paint flaking, peeling, worn or even thinking about looking old needs to be painted. Seems huge but we can do it. Rented a sprayer and got the whole front of the green done in one day. Monday we were planning on painting all of the trim. Not so much, painting & rain not so good together. I left work today thinking I would get it all finished, um yeah right. I had no idea lattice painting was such a bitch. I painted from about 3:45 until about 6:30, I would have painted longer but A-) it was dark and I don't know where Mark's head lamp is. B-) I was shivering so hard I was missing what I was trying to paint. Mark even came home on his two breaks to paint (he can paint and still go back to work, I can't yet). Once we close on the new house I'm done, I will not be moving again until we can pay someone to do all the crap and move our stuff. I want to find a house and sign on the dotted line and that's it. Considering that isn't likely I won't be moving again.
