Concert news

It was absolutely amazing. Worth the wait! We had dinner at Benihanna (my fav), our whole table and the one next to us were eating before the concert too. They played together for a while then Billy Joel left and Elton played alone for a while, he is an amazingly talented man. Not just a little bit but like "holy shit talented", I think Collin would say "uber talented". Billy Joel cam back and played fabulously, also an extremely talented man (in the holy shit category too). I saw them back about 8 or 9 years ago and loved it, at the time I remember thinking how much more I liked Billy Joel than originally thought. EJ is talented but not really an entertainer anymore, he was there to play and had no crowd interaction, didn't introduce his band, nothing but play and sing. BJ is not only a talented musician he is an entertainer, he looked like he was having a good time being there. Introduced his band and played with the audience, reminded me of how Garth Brooks is. At the end they came together and played again, 4 or 5 songs but no encore. Absolutely fantastic show, loved every minute of it. Poor Mark, he was getting sick and by the end of the concert you good tell he was miserable but he humored me.
